We Start With A Question

How do you feel & move in your space?

How does your space align with how you move through your mornings, cook, gather, and unwind? Where do people naturally end up when they walk through your door? What would make hosting feel effortless rather than exhausting?

Most interior designers focus on aesthetics — colour palettes, statement pieces, Instagram screenshots of photographer-styled homes. We focus on function first, beauty as a natural outcome.

Think of us as your space whisperer. We work with how you actually live — making your everyday more intentional, more effortless, and genuinely good for the nervous system. The flow of a room, the warmth of a corner, the kitchen that works with you rather than against you. Small shifts that change how you feel the moment you walk through the door.

Because that's the real opportunity. Spaces aligned to the memories you actually want to make — the dinners that ran too long, the Sunday mornings that stretched into afternoons, the kitchen where everyone ends up without being asked. When your space works for you, you do more of what you love. You cook more. You gather more. You host, read, paint, play.

We create homes aligned to the memories you want to make.

We ask how you actually live. When do you cook? Is it only on the weekends? How often do you use your formal living room? Do you have a place where you can relax?

We focus on design that makes it feel like home!

What We Curate

Hosting, Gathering & Reading Nooks!

The best gatherings don't happen by accident — they happen in spaces designed for them. Spaces that make people want to stay. That's what we're obsessed with. We create nooks & snugs — intimate spaces that encourage people to converse, lounge, linger, unwind or simply connect with others.

A snug corner where usual friends converse over coffee. Reading nooks that invite you to pause during a busy day. Home bars ready for entertaining on a weekday — or simply to open and decompress after a long day. Games rooms that bring everyone back to the same table. Think extra long kitchen islands with interesting seating where people naturally congregate while you cook over a cocktail.

Tech-free zones where people actually talk, linger and connect — no screens, no distractions, just good conversation and even better food. Dining areas that feel like an extension of the kitchen, used regularly rather than kept formal and never touched.

These are the space dilemmas our clients come to us with. And we solve them with integrity! We curate layouts that make hosting seamless and natural. It's our number one request.

The Process

Here's What's Different

We have real chat. How do you want to feel in this space? When do you cook? Who do you host? What does your ideal day look like here?

Curate spaces around your life, not trends. Functional layouts. Intentional pieces. Systems that make hosting easier. This isn't interior design—it's about supporting how you actually want to live.

Source one off ceramics, lighting, and furniture to match your personality and story. Finding the most interesting servingware to make gathering feel amazing. Every piece is chosen because it works and it's beautiful. Everything is designed to make your hosting easy.

Here's what we won't do: We won't design a statement armchair with a side table that's rarely used but looks pretty. We won't hang a huge chandelier above your dining table for the one dinner party a year. That's not design—that's waste. Furniture is built around purpose, not Instagram. Every piece earns its place because you actually use it. Because it supports how you want to live, not how you think you should perform. Your space becomes part of the life you want to live—intentionally.

Our Projects

This year we've worked with 10 clients across 16 projects. Our clients are fiercely private—they're not looking to showcase their homes on social media. They simply want spaces that fulfill their needs and enrich everyday life.

We work on properties of all shapes and sizes around the world. From city penthouses to country barns, intimate apartments to sprawling estates—the size doesn't matter. What matters is how you use it.

If you have a space issue, an underused property, or a project brewing, let's talk. We'd love to hear what you're facing and discuss how we can create an intentional space where you live and enjoy fully.

Who We Work With

The clients we're built for

Our clients already understand design. They've invested in beautiful spaces — in London, Norfolk, Scotland, the Cotswolds, Devon, Australia. What they're asking isn't "how should this look?" It's "now what? How do I actually live here? How do I do more of what I love?" And almost always — how do I host more?

That's where I naturally excel. With over a decade in private dining with UK and international clients, I understand not just how spaces should flow, but how they need to work when you're actually cooking, entertaining, and bringing people together across cultures and rhythms of life. Whether you're in the city or the countryside changes everything about how you move and live — and we design around that reality.

Our clients are resetting, relocating, retiring — or simply ready for their space to catch up with who they've become. They want more books, more art, more conversation, more connection. Spaces that support the life they actually want to lead & thrive in.

Client Testimonials

Don't Take Our Word For It

From our first client with a large penthouse kitchen overlooking Hyde Park that looked stunning but didn't work—to the gentleman who wanted a hidden bar with a coffee station incorporated into his cosy Central London mezzanine apartment—to couples in North Norfolk who wanted a country retreat that was functional and a genuine place to gather and host, not a typical unused second home.

We've completed projects across London, Norfolk, and beyond—homes where families now actually gather, kitchens that finally work, dining spaces that invite entertaining. Clients call months later saying: "We're using our space completely differently. We're hosting more. We're relaxing more. Our home finally feels like ours."

That's what success looks like. Not a beautiful photo. Not a magazine feature. A space you actually live in, fully. It's heartwarming to see how understanding these spaces helps our clients truly thrive in their homes.

Our work travels purely by referral. Since Curated by Saima is the offshoot of The Hampstead Kitchen. That's where all our dining and design testimonials live — in one place!
